Hey I know it's kinda of sad to see the tournament come to a close. The babes(ok, i know there are not many), the hot bods, and of cos the worldclass action on display at sentosa for the past week. Yup, only a day had flew past but i'm starting to miss my Miwa Asao already. Himzzz... ...when'll u be back? Hope to see U in Singapore again soon. In the meantime, i gotta sort out my future and stick to my plans. At times I feel that i need someone to give a kick up my backside to give me a boost. I don want to be a has-been and someone with so much potential but fulfill so little of it.
Well, back to the Swatch FIVB Beach Volley World Tour Singapore, I would say that it was an enjoyment to be there. Despite the rain, the sun, and the sai kang, i gonna miss the beach again.

Hey guys and gals...it was one hell of a final day. Team China won the Brazilians for the 3rd-4th placing match, while Team Brazil won the Chinese in the final. (Yes u seen right, most countries send in more than one team). The atmosphere was also amazing, with many Brazilian supporters out in full force with their drums, instruments and of coz lotsa Brazilian Flags. Cheers to them for standing by the team no matter what the situation was during the matches.

Too bad the top-seeded team comprising of Larissa Franca and Juliana Felisberta Silva had to settle for 4th place instead, after being beaten by compatriots Renata Trevisan Ribeiro and Talita Antunes da Rocha in the semi-finals and China in the 3rd-4th placing match. Even then, there's still half a year left for them to catch up. Sadly only Ben could give me the pics coz a certain Garlic decided to pang seh and save his brother. I really wonder, does he loves his bro that much?

Hey guys...judging from today, my judging babe potential and ability gotta be 20 too. Haha...for those of u who remember last week when i sent your video clips of a certain volleyball girl by the name of Miwa Asao will surely worship me for this.
Point 1: After being 1m away from her for about an hour, i can surely say this: She is definetely the BABE OF THE TOURNAMENT!
Point 2: After the Japan Team 1 vs. Japan Team 2 match, the journalist swarmed her for interviews and a press conference ensured. I really pity the rest of her
teammates who could only sit in one corner and stare blankly into space. If only they were prettier, things would have been different.
Point 3: She looks really much better in person than in the videos... this I can swear with my heart. Although i still agree that out there, there are still many who are better looking than her.
PS: For those horny bastards out there ( Ya i'm referring to u reading this), we're gonna get some photos for u to see. Too bad we forgot to bring our digicam today. But tomorrow's gonna be the day! So as a warning to Ben and Garlic, better get some good pics tomorrow...or else....

After reading this book, my friends were changed profoundly. They began spouting acronyms and other rather vague, seemingly innocuous terms. These terms, to quote the book, had entered their 'permanent lexicon'. The subject matter of the book has become a large part of their lives. My interest was first piqued hearing them discussing the subject matter of the book, using the acronyms and terms that they learnt. They made the subject matter sound like an exact science, with theories and rules etc.....It was interesting to observe them, deep in their discussions, like scientists. Exchanging information, analyzing experiment results, extrapolating conclusions.
Eventually a pdf copy of the book made its way to my hard drive. After reading the first 2 chapters, the book strikes me as a combination between autobiography and non-fiction. The writing style is engaging, keeping the reader intrigued. Now I have to admit, I find myself rather apprehensive in reading this book, seeing as how my friends are so affected by it. Not in a negative way though. Kind of like a lifestyle choice, like choosing to only give up your seats on the train to elderly folks and not people with babies, that sort of thing. But I shall venture on, as I have nothing else to read. I can only hope it will not change me, as it has to my friends and no doubt countless others.

Just finished reading my fav author Chuck Palahniuk's new novel "Rant: An Oral Biography of Buster Casey". There's a passage in there that i think is kinda cool and true for drivers.

I would like to welcome another new member hide-something........after hearing him give a lecture on relationships, something abt love-marker or something, decided that he has alot of things he can contribute to the blog. He's looks like he shld be fat, but he's not. He takes a mean freekick, and will take on all challengers. He's never been known to not defeat a challenger, as he will keep asking for rematches until he wins one.
He's a mysterious person as well, always lurking in the shadows, his gaze seemingly hiding a secret that would never be revealed. Just a couple of days ago, I witnessed how a few secondary school kids bought their smokes. They approached indian workers and ask them to buy it for them. The scenario was all too familiar, it reminded me of the southpark episode "D-yikes!" where Cartman and friends approach a group of mexican immigrants to help them do some work. It was a funny sight looking at the students trying to communicate with the indian workers as they speak really poor english (just like the mexicans "si!"). They bought the wrong brand at first and one of the boys took quite some time to explain to him which was the right one. If you need a small job done, now you'll know who or where to find your cheap labour.

Ok on to the main topic. MTVasia has a new program showing the top 100 one-hit wonders, showing 20 videos each week. I love this fucking show, brings back so many old songs that we have forgotten about, such as Blue by Eiffel 65 ( I'm blue da ba di da ba da) and Third-Eye Blind with Semi-charmed Life . So far i have watched from 100 to 71 on the list, so decided to compile a list of possible songs that may appear on the countdown. Thanks to fellow members PJS and Redhotbbqfries for contributing to the list. Take note that the artists that are gonna be listed below may actually have more than one hit, but most ppl only remember them for that one song, and after that song they were never ever as famous again.
Some rather obvious choices like Vanilla Ice- Ice Ice Baby and Baha Men-Who let the Dogs Out are omitted as they are already listed on the MTV website. So no point repeating. Ok enough meaningless rhetoric here's our list.
