House of Health (episode 1)

I was invited by Garlic Oyster Chicken to join this blog to contribute and share my knowledge about health and fitness to everyone. Health is very important to everyone, more important than anything else. However in this society, everyone seems to deem money as important as health. In fact, they agree that money weighs much more than health as it can move the world. And in the process of earning money, people neglect their health and end up falling ill and some even die. So, we need to learn how to take care of ourselves before anything else. Let me share some basic health tips with you guys.

Ways to stay healthy:

  1. Get into a habit of waking up early for a morning jog of at least 2 km. Air is the freshest in the wee morning and fresh air makes ur mind clear and active.
  2. It is important to have your breakfast very morning before you leave for work or school. Breakfast must be taken as early as 630 am to at most 9 am. Try to have a glass of water before you consume anything in the morning. Have a good breakfast so that you can start your day fresh and energetic.
  3. Try not to have a heavy lunch and if you are really hungry, have some snacks during teabreak.
  4. Have a light dinner, best come with fish soup or vegetable soup. Strike a balance diet in every meal. An apple a day keeps the doctor away so eat more fruits and try not to eat deep fried food all the time.
  5. No supper as metabolism is least active in the night.
  6. Do not eat anything 3 hours before you sleep.
  7. Sleep early, perhaps around 11 pm and have a minimum 7 hours of sleep everyday.

Remember, your life is in your own hand so treasure it. Okay, that's all for today. I shall post more next time. Till then, see ya!

Where on Earth is Mas Selamat

He could be aniwhere. That's why interpol has issued a worldwide arrest on sight order.
I'm sorry to say but i got a innate urge to always support the underdog. Dun arrest me.

Random Fact: In the past the Catholic Church said sex btw married couples was sinful. Is it any wonder why people decided to be methodists.

SIngapore's Number One Fugitive

The latest news buzzing around Singapore is that of the great escape by the Singaporean JI leader Mas Selamat Bin Kastari. This is a sudden departure from the usual news where house fires, budgets, GST and the occasional neighbour spats are the norm. How a man who's short and walks with a limp on his left leg can escape a high security detention centre has been fodder and food for thought during lunch time banter. The official excuse for his escape is due to a "security lapse". Authorities found out that he was missing when he went to the toilet and disappeared before meeting his family. This resulted in a large man hunt for him. The islandwide manhunt has fanned out to areas in Beauty World in Upper Bukit Timah and Goldhill Avenue near Barker Road.

The occurance of this incident is sure to have repecussions and it will dent the reputation of Singapore's security and reputation as a "safe haven". Hopefully, he would be caught soon to limit the damages done. May this psychological blow to the battle against terrorism not harp our progress and on-going fight against terror, and instead cause us to be more vigilant and not take Singapore's security and safety for granted.
