Social dynamics in the 21st century : A study of the pickup artist

Chapter one : Introduction

Women have been saying for ages that us men do not understand them, that we do not know what's on their minds. However, recently there has been a rise of a group of men who challenge this statement. Claiming that they can read the opposite sex's every movement and able to control them from the palm of their hands. Able to attract a girl at their whim. This is the subculture group that call themselves pick-up artistes(PUA). And they are growing.

This series of scientific essays will explore the many facets of the pickup artists, dissecting the theories that form the basis for their methods. We will carry out experiements, interviews and research to provide an accurate and comprehensive study that will show all sides of the subject at hand.

As PUAs are a secretive lot, we shall not reveal the specific techniques they use, just the general outlines. We would also like to point out this is a scientific article, and as such we aim to remain neutral, so pls PUAs and anti-PUAs do not accuse us of being biased.
