Brand New Year - Virgin Post

Hi there,

I'm here with my virgin post at last, after much persuasion from Hide haha. Nothing particularly exciting to post about at the moment, but just some thoughts for this brand new year. Happened to come across an article online which mentioned that Jan 26 is actually the sadest day of the year where it is unusually cold for most places, New year resolutions are broken, no more gifts and back to work for all. Every word on that article speaks the bitter truth about most of the people and i personally think that if most people are doing what they are exactly doing the year before and they will certainly achieve the same stuff as before. So new sets of actions are needed to work towards your new goals and resolutions. So its time to change!

Here are some motivational quotes for all:

Never wait endlessly for the perfect time and conclusive condition before you begin.

He who controls others may be powerful but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.

A glorious vision minus a viable plan is merely a pipe dream.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Blessed is the man who is too busy to worry in the day and too sleepy to worry at night.

The grass is greener on the other side but it still has to be mowed.

Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how i react to it.

Many people failed not because of the lack of means but rather the lack of application of what they do have.

Well, talking a bit of my life and year 2007 was certainly the darkest yet the brightest time of my life. An illness came and nearly took everything from me. Helps were there but with no exact solutions for my problems. Everyone went on with their busy lifestyles and life seemed to have stopped for me at that moment. But God is there all along. I began picking up more scriptural books to read and His words certainly open up and connect to every point of my life and telling me the journey that I have missed in my life. In my darkest period, I lost everything but I found God again. His undivided Love even when I fell deep impacted so much on me that I took the decision to get baptized finally. With his mercy and guidance, I’m back to my health now and pretty much scoring and back to form (I hope) =p And to sum up, God has been great for me and a few days recovery from my cornea infection/scratches (usually takes 2-6 months to heal) and a recovery from my back disc problem (no doctor can solve it for now) will take nothing less than a miracle and His healing touch.

Though tragedy, heartache, and sorrow abound
And many a hardship in life will be found,
Just put all your trust in the Savior of light,
For He can bring hope in the darkest of night.

Take care dudes and cya around. Till then =)

Josh
