Green=environmental friendly?

Live earth was over bout 1 1/2 week ago. I recently saw ads showing Singaporeans wearing green on the 7Th July to show their support to live earth. How does wearing green help the environment? So what if it does raise awareness, those people showing up in green are not doing shit to help the environment at all.
Live Earth, was it a concert for the environment or was it for the celebrities to promote themselves? Seeing celebrities performing in every continent. Even performing in the Antarctica, signs of desperation from some of the artistes? Won't Live Earth be killing the earth faster? The energy used to for the sound, lights and to broadcast the show. The private plane trips to take the artistes to their performing stage. They do not realise it's the artistes who should be more aware of global warming, especially with their extravagant lifestyles. If you really want to save the earth, don't just talk about it, DO something bout IT!
Speaking of taking actions, reminded me to bring up the topic on charity shows. Every time when there's a charity show coming up, celebrities will start improving their public image by showing up at homes for the disabled, old age. But only when there's a camera around then they will be showing their love and concern for these people. Why do they not feature those volunteers who are actually working their ass off helping these people. GOC said that it doesn't matter that they only visit only when there's an event, cos he would probably do the same. He just didn't like the fact that the celebrities will start crying and trying to make us feel guilty if we do not make any donations. Seriously, the celebrities should be feeling more guilty being hypocrites.
It has been a long time since I've posted, but hey at least now I'm doing something. Where's the babe of the month post? From what I've heard it's suppose to be Megan Fox from transformers. It's almost the end of the month already.
